Lawyers and courts come to PD&A to find experts for cases in criminal law, personal injury, wrongful death, malpractice, intentional torts, employment law, family law, trusts and estates, elder law, class action litigation, and other matters because we offer:

In criminal matters, we evaluate cases on behalf of prosecutors, defense attorneys, or the court. In civil matters, we evaluate cases on behalf of either plaintiff or defense.

Our approach to cases was born in 1981 when the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia asked Dr. Park Dietz to lead the team evaluating John Hinckley, Jr., for the attempted assassination of President Reagan. The innovative method developed in that evaluation has been successfully applied to countless cases since then, including many of the most important cases of the past two decades.

Organizations come to PD&A to find expert consultants, advisors, and educators. PD&A experts act as consultants to the F.B.I., U.S. Secret Service, C.I.A., D.E.A., B.A.T.F., U.S. State Department, U.S. Armed Forces, New York and Virginia State Police, N.B.A., and over 200 Fortune 500 companies. PD&A experts have worked on matters involving national security, international crises, corporate crises, and - through our sister company, Threat Assessment Group, Inc. - have advised corporations on thousands of incidents involving threats to human life, corporate assets, or consumer products.

Media come to PD&A for on-camera interviews with experts, technical advice, and coaching of actors. PD&A experts have appeared on hundreds of documentaries and news shows in the U.S., Canada, Australia, England, France, Germany, Japan, and Spain, have consulted on major Hollywood films, and regularly advise the writers and producers of "Law & Order," "ER," "Autopsy," and other TV shows.
